This will contain items that you can only use on yourself. If treating another Scout use their own First Aid Kit on them. Only pack items which you can use yourself and which you know how to use.

Must only be used on yourself:
Antiseptic Wipes
Plasters
Non-adherant dressings
Tweezers for splinter removal (self only)
Antiseptic cream
Insect bite soothing cream

And also:
Plastic bags (sandwich size) for disposal of dressings
Scout Emergency cards
First Aid Guidance Card – if available
Paper and pencil/pen
Useful phone numbers
Coins for a phone call
For use on others:
GLOVES
Resuscitation aid
Gauze Pads
Micropore tape
Triangular bandage
Crepe bandage (for support, compression)
Open weave bandage (just holds dressings on)
Eyepad, sachet Aqueous Solution if available
Scissors
Safety pins and/or zinc oxide tape
(Tape mustn't touch skin on others)
