Scouts are always looking for more Leaders and administrators to help run the Groups - the more adult help we have, the more youngsters are able to enjoy Scouting. There are many adult opportunities in Scouting - it's not all about running a section night.

Currently in the Odiham District we are looking for the following people to assist with running the District. Scouting is a purely voluntary hobby - however there are many benefits to assisting a local Scout group. We have an active social scene and you'll get the opportunity to try many of the activities and improve your skills and qualifications. Of course, you get the benefit of seeing the youngsters develop as they progress through Scouts, knowing you are helping your local community!

Skills Instructors

In addition to the uniformed Leaders, Odiham District Scouts are always looking for additional skills instructors. This can be for any speciliased activity, or for general activities. You need to be qualified to a national body level for specilist skills (like climbing, archery and shooting) but often Scouting is able to offer training courses if you wish to increase your skills base.
